Rants Thread Since I do make the occasionally rant we can all make them here. Make a rant about anything, anything at all. Just don't expect it to get solved. If you wanted it solved you should've put it in the advice sub-forum!!

Argh!
Wish id had access to this when i was at Eurojam.
What is it with some guides who feel the need to cry ALL THE TIME? Theyre 16 or 17, and yet they cry about everything. If things arent fair. If they are slightly injured. If they want to attract some male scouts attention. If it seems like they havent cried within the past ten minutes. Actually, I reckon I could cope with all the crying if I was allowed to simply ignore it. But no. When someone cries about anything, it is absolutey necessary for everyone else on the campsite to stop having fun and come to comfort them, otherwise we are considered evil robotic monsters. Alright, when something is genuinely wrong then stopping to help people is important. But when people are crying all the time, instead of making some effort to enjoy the camp theyve been getting excited about for the past year, it just gets so annoying. Honestly, it was as if the rest of the folks in my tent had a rota that said who got to cry when, and then theyd all take turns. And people wonder why Im friends with guys instead...

IST Fee spent wrongly we dont get the stuff we paid for. bad attitude from people in charge of us so they wonder why they got that kind of attitude back. 2007 had better have a lot of changes made.

Rants! Yay!
Parents that think they can run your life, make your decisions for you then yell at you for doing something "wrong" . They do NOT always know best, whatever they say. (Oh, then they wonder why you didnt tell them what you did the night before... )

The Da vinci Code
It just plain isnt that good. Why is it hailed as a masterpiece? The (non fiction) book it was based on was ripped apart and proven to be entirely wrong and at times just plain making stuff up, so programs looking at "what if the divinci code was right?" are stupid.
And the mirror writing - argh. i dont know anyone who didnt notice what was going on with minutes if not seconds, and yet it takes someone experience in working with crypts hours to work it out.

im sure the irish sites at eurojam had free single lads hanging over them because wen i was on ne of them there was always crowds of girls around. now iv no problem wit scouts enjoying themselves but wen it gets to the stage that u end up wit about 10 english girls standing on site wen your trying to get ur scout group to cook or clean they dont help the situation and dont get me started wit the spainish ooooooohhhh

To be honest Im not sure that someone who admits to not bothering to read the rules (although rules are the same on pretty much every forum ive been on to date) would make the worlds best admin.
And besides theres only 19 members so far, why would more mods and admin be needed right now...
Ah well keep up the campaign, maybe make some placards or something...
