-Bag Packing
One of the best fundraisers ever! You get money for packing other peoples bags. It doesn't take much organization and it is very profitable as there is no chance of a loss.

sponsored events eg:

silences
walks
badge stitching (yes we had to sew on 26 badges in 2 weeks!)

these work quite well

ceilidhs seem to work well for raising money, i guess things like BBQs or parties could as well.

there was something about writing a frequent newsletter and then getting people to subscribe to it at extortionate costs on the eurojam site but i dont know if anyone actually made money from something like that.

well done! and i would like to point out that samwose is a ranger/guide not a scout, she may take offence on hearing that she was indirectly called a scout
